Ronald Long has painted in oils throughout his life. Having gained a first in fine art in the 50s, Ronald continued to paint in London and Paris then worked for many years in art education.

This gallery show featured his early works right up to the present day. Focusing on his northern landscapes, the English countryside and foreign views, Ronald Long: A Retrospective also featured this sublime portrait of the artist's model painted when he was just 19.
