The educational resources are designed to help teachers and children visiting No 78 Derngate, Northampton to achieve the following objectives:

The Past
Know about and understand the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Bassett-Lowke, and their contribution to the development of Art, Craft, Design and Technology.

The Present

The Future

  • FIND OUT ABOUT suggested connections to what is seen and experienced.
  • COMPARE AND CONTRAST with other identified buildings and designers.

The individual interpretation of this education experience by each school is encouraged in order to promote creativity in teaching and learning.
